Marketech was incorporated in 2000, created with the aim of providing technology solutions to Australian based traders. Charting analysis software was the first product Marketech offered. Education products and an execution service were added in 2002.
Marketech sourced a third party online trading platform in early 2005 and began offering CFDs to its client base. Not content with the third party software alone, Marketech developed its own proprietary trading software which it launched in 2006. Marketech was an ASX market participant as part of its proprietary software launch.
